This Tao Moment
A little poem about staying present in each moment, embracing emotions, finding the center or Tao
Can you sit with yourself in each moment and be ok with “what is?”
Without shifting, changing, judging, analyzing, controlling, pushing, forcing, or resisting.
Just sitting with it.
Encompassed in your whole beingness.
Letting the moment fill you up.
Welcoming all the emotions in, as you would a guest to your house.
Greeting each with a smile and acceptance for exactly what they are.
Saying “I see you, I feel you, I hear you, I acknowledge you.”
Giving them a cup of tea and feeling deeply in to what they have to say.
Offering loving kindness and nurturing.
After that they are free to go.
Because they were welcomed and acknowledged,
the hook was released and they are free to go.
And you were free to let go.
Unclenching the fist and heart and going with the flow.
Swimming down stream and being ok with the moment “as is.”
Nothing to do, nowhere to go.
Only here is this moment, in alignment with the Tao.
Not seeking, not expecting, just present, welcoming all things.
Being here now. ❤️ Mom
Beautiful. Thank you.
